Ouestion: Can I use the Sheriff's Department to serve my legal papers?

Answer: Yes. However, usually the Sheriff's Deputy will knock on the defendant/respondent's door once or twice and then quit the service of process. Consequently, the person is never served. There is a fee charged for this service. Constables work from 8am to 5pm.

Question: How many service attempts does RoadRunner Process Service make?

Answer: We make (5) service attempts and we file a 'Proof of Service" document with the filing court. For high mileage locations we do (3) attempts.
